Members of TWS talk about the songs from their first mini-album Sparkling Blue and share their recommendations of the songs that make their days sparkle.

SHINYU: We’ve had many people ask how we met. You’ll enjoy our title track “plot twist” better if you imagine our first encounter while listening.

DOHOON: We paid extra attention to recording as this is the title track of our first mini-album. It has a chorus you can sing along right away! You’ll instantly feel our bubbly and refreshing vibe.😆

YOUNGJAE: “plot twist” ​has a catchy tune worthy of its place as the title track. It will get you hooked on the first listen. It also has a lot going for it, from the catchy lyrics in the chorus to unique but easy-to-follow choreo. Be sure to check it out!

HANJIN: It’s a song that speaks to our hearts and minds. I hope you enjoy it!

KYUNGMIN: Our title track 😇 “plot twist” is about the excitement and uncertainty of a first encounter. It has contrasting lyrics that convey a strong message. It’s literally a song about excitement, and it can be best enjoyed when you watch our performance with it!

​TWS – “unplugged boy”

SHINYU: You can hear each of the six members’ compelling vocals in this song!

DOHOON: It’s the most mellow song on the album. I highly recommend it because it showcases our vocals very well! You’ll feel the chemistry between us as we sing back and forth with each other!

YOUNGJAE: It’s the only English-only song on our first mini-album. There’s no choreography, so you can focus solely on the singing! It’s an alternative R&B song with a warm, soft, and upbeat vibe. The unique and captivating vocals of each of our members make this song even more recommendable!

KYUNGMIN: Our voices really shine in this song. The retro band sound and the melody are both wonderful. You’ll feel upbeat and energized every time you listen to it.

​TWS – “first hooky”

JIHOON: It reminds me of fresh, oceanic images and makes me feel like I’m traveling somewhere! Haha. I recommend this song to those who are tired of the same, repetitive routine!

KYUNGMIN: This is the only song we didn’t perform at our debut show, so I highly recommend it. It’s groovy and sophisticated. The melody, conveyed with our vocals, is also quite catchy!!

​TWS – “BFF”

SHINYU: The whistle makes this a truly memorable piece. I’m sure this song will make any ordinary day a little more special!

HANJIN: This song captures the chemistry and sincere friendship among our members. The melody and the beat are cheerful, but it’s also relaxing at the same time, so give it a listen!

JIHOON: I would recommend “BFF” the most on this album. It captures our dynamics quite well and the performance is a treat for the eyes and the ears!

​TWS – “Oh Mymy : 7s”

DOHOON: This was our pre-release! We recorded this song with as much confidence as the lyrics radiate. It’s a great song not only for the music but also for the performance. I hope you’ll like it! “oh mymy oh mymy” 🎶🎶

YOUNGJAE: Although the title track on our first mini-album is “plot twist,” the pre-released track “Oh Mymy : 7s” can’t be overlooked! It’s the song that we practiced the longest and it has a highly addictive chorus. It’s filled with our determination as a rookie to show who we are, in just seven seconds. Please give it a listen!

HANJIN: This song will show you what TWS is all about just in seven seconds! You’ll find its minimalistic melody and rhythm captivating. Don’t miss out on this track if you want to learn about TWS faster!

SHINYU: I love the beautiful lyrics and Leellamarz’s ear-tickling voice makes it even more captivating!

DOHOON: The lyrics, “There’s nothing like us” are touching. Listening to the song with the lyrics in mind will definitely warm your heart!

​Kim Hyunchang – “Nothing but Morning”

YOUNGJAE: This song is so calming and soothing. It’s one of the songs that can heal and comfort a tired and troubled soul! It’s a very cherished song of mine. It’s also a great song to listen to when you can’t sleep at night!

​SEVENTEEN – “God of Music”

HANJIN: You can let go of all your worries while listening to this song! It portrays the joy of enjoying music with people from all around the world!

​seven oops – “Orange”

JIHOON: It’s got a great vibe to it. This is a great song to listen to when you’re feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. The electric guitar sounds amazing!

​Lauv – “Summer Nights”

KYUNGMIN: This song is interesting because it starts out calm but the beat changes in the middle, shifting the atmosphere entirely. When I listen to that part, I can imagine everyone running and playing together, and it makes my heart race.
