Every artist can recall some intensely amazing and amazingly intense moments from the journey that led them to where they are today—the stage. To cheer on our readers as the spring semester approaches for students, we wanted to hear the most compelling teenage memories of the Weverse artists born in 2006 who legally became adults this year: HARUNA (Billlie), HONG EUNCHAE (LE SSERAFIM), MAKI (&TEAM), WOONHAK (BOYNEXTDOOR), KIM DO GYUN (82MAJOR), MACKIAH and SEUNGMO (AMPERS&ONE), JIHOON and HANJIN (TWS), and Megan (KATSEYE).

HARUNA (Billlie): I think the moment I shined brightest in my teens was the first time we performed “remembrance candy” on TV. That first live performance marked the first comeback in a while with the whole group, so I was a little nervous, but it also made it an incredibly enjoyable and memorable performance. I think I’m at my best when I’m really into a performance, and the first time doing “remembrance candy” on TV sticks out in my memory most among those, so that’s why I chose it.
HONG EUNCHAE (LE SSERAFIM): I celebrated my very last birthday as a teenager at the 2024 MTV EMAs, the largest music awards show in Europe. It was unforgettable for me because we put LE SSERAFIM on display at such a big venue and we were congratulated by artists from all over the world.
MAKI (&TEAM): I feel like I shine the most when I’m singing, whether that’s in the recording studio or onstage or anywhere else. Recently I performed in a live event called “D.U.N.K. Showcase.” During that performance, I felt super free and had lots of fun. I think up until now, that was the moment where I shined the most.
WOONHAK (BOYNEXTDOOR): The most amazing moment I experienced as a teenager was, without a doubt, my debut. As I’ve said countless times before, without that day, I don’t think there’s any way my teen years ever could’ve ended on such a high note.

KIM DO GYUN (82MAJOR): I think the most amazing thing for me has been all the time I’ve spent with 82DE since debuting. That’s why, instead of choosing the single best moment, I’m choosing the very first of a string of best moments, and that was when I got to meet 82DE for the first time for the release of the music video for “Sure Thing.” The moment we revealed 82MAJOR to fans for the first time was the beginning of the best times of my teenage years.
MACKIAH (AMPERS&ONE): My first FNC KINGDOM performance! It wasn’t long after my debut, and it was thrilling performing in front of such a massive audience for the first time in my life, showing them what I’ve got. Hearing the audience and seeing all the love they were giving me made me shine even brighter, and it woke up something inside of me. I’m grateful for that moment.
SEUNGMO (AMPERS&ONE): Getting into arts high school! Getting in after working so hard to prepare for the entrance exam and the interview was something I was really proud of.

JIHOON (TWS): If I had to choose the most amazing moment of my teens, it’d be when I debuted. The huge amount of time and effort I put into chasing my dreams, finding success, and even the times I fell down were all part of something special, I think, but that moment when I debuted and my dreams came true still sticks in my memory like nothing else!
HANJIN (TWS): The video that brings me back to the most shining moment of my teens is our debut showcase, which was on January 22, 2024. I remember the sight of our fans cheering for us as if it was yesterday. I still feel empowered when I think about the warmth of those stage lights and locking eyes with the rest of the group. On those long days, I look back on my memories from the debut and remind myself of the even bigger dreams our group wants to make come true. That isn’t just another memory of the past, but fuel for the future we’re creating together.
Megan (KATSEYE): I picked this photo because I feel like it shows how adventurous I am, and how I always love having a good time! I’m super go-with-the-flow when it comes to anything and I love finding out where the day takes me! ⭐
