“GO WILD!” This summer of 2025, the Weverse Con Festival returns, packed with the fierce passion of the jungle. Featuring a record-breaking lineup of 27 teams, the festival also shines a spotlight on iconic figures in Korean pop music history. This year’s Tribute Stage welcomes BoA, who will deliver a vibrant and diverse musical showcase. Along with the brand-new outdoor evening concert, Weverse Park Night, and exciting fan participation programs, the Weverse Con Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. As the festival draws near, the organizers share their vision and highlight what fans can look forward to for an unforgettable experience.

Weverse Con Festival introduces a new theme every year. What is the theme for the 2025 Weverse Con Festival?
Concert Business Team: The theme for this year’s Weverse Con Festival is “GO WILD.” We believe the wild, jungle-like atmosphere perfectly captures the vibrant energy unique to K-pop that we want to showcase at the festival. The jungle represents both the fierce intensity of a predator and the comfort and stability of nature. We aim to bring these contrasting qualities to life across the two main festival spaces: Weverse Park and Weverse Con.
The 2025 Weverse Con Festival features a record-breaking lineup of 27 teams. What vision or message did you hope to convey through such a diverse range of artists?
Concert Business Team: This year’s Weverse Con Festival features a diverse lineup of artists beyond K-pop groups, including musical stars Jeong Seon-ah and Min Kyung-ah, bands NELL and QWER, and singer-songwriters 10CM and Lee Mu-jin. With K-pop gaining worldwide attention, we wanted to introduce not only the performances of artists who have achieved remarkable success in the global market, but also stages featuring artists from a variety of genres to fans around the world. Through this, we hope many fans will have the chance to experience greater genre diversity and artistic richness.
Every year, Weverse Con Festival presents a “Tribute Stage” that highlights iconic figures in the history of Korean popular music, such as the late Shin Hae-chul, Seo Taiji, Uhm Jung-hwa, and Park Jin-young. Could you tell us about the significance of this year’s tribute artist, BoA?
Concert Business Team: BoA, often called the “Star of Asia,” is an iconic artist who was the first to demonstrate K-pop’s global potential and has left a lasting legacy in Korean popular music history. Her music, combining broad appeal with artistic depth, resonates with a wide audience, from teenagers to those in their 30s, who make up the core demographic of the Weverse Con Festival. We believe her performance will unite generations through the power of music. This year’s Tribute Stage will feature a special solo set by BoA herself, showcasing some of her most iconic songs. In addition, other artists will offer modern reinterpretations of her iconic tracks, paying tribute to an artist who has been a role model and inspiration to many. We hope audiences look forward to these performances.
Alongside performances by various artists on Weverse, this year’s Weverse Con Festival also includes “WECONFE CHOICE,” a segment that introduces non-Weverse artists to global fans. Could you share the background behind the selection of singer-songwriter Lee Mu-jin and the band NELL for this special stage?
Concert Business Team: “WECONFE CHOICE” was created to introduce artists who are widely loved by the public, regardless of whether they are on Weverse, to a global audience. The program aims to broaden the festival’s musical diversity and create an inclusive music experience that everyone can enjoy. This year, we selected the band NELL, known for their range from emotional acoustic sounds to the distinctive energy of rock, and singer-songwriter Lee Mu-jin, whose relatable lyrics and accessible music have earned strong public support. Both artists are renowned for their outstanding live band performances, and they will open the “Weverse Park Night,” kicking off an unforgettable summer evening at the festival.
This year, a new night program called “Weverse Park Night” has been introduced at the outdoor stage, Weverse Park. As it makes its debut, what kind of experience can audiences look forward to?
Concert Business Team: A live performance on a cool early summer night is one of the unique pleasures that only a music festival can offer. With this in mind, we have prepared “Weverse Park Night,” where a diverse lineup of artists will showcase band performances at Weverse Park. This event will present a fresh and distinct charm compared to the familiar K-pop sounds that global fans are accustomed to, creating a romantic summer night atmosphere that perfectly matches the festival’s vibe.
In addition to the performances, are there any events or activities that audiences can enjoy at this year’s Weverse Con Festival?
Weverse Platform Business Team: To help fans enjoy the festival more immersively, this year’s Weverse Con Festival is introducing a fan participation program called the “Stamp Tour,” running from April 21 to June 11. Fans can collect stamps by completing various online and on-site missions, both through the Weverse platform and at the festival venue. On the Weverse platform, fans can take part in pre-event missions such as logging into the 2025 WECONFE website or sending messages of support. At the festival venue, fans can engage in activities like visiting designated photo spots, creating special moments shared between artists and fans. Fans who collect three stamps can claim mission-completion gifts and random coupons on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue. Those who collect five stamps will have the opportunity to enter a lucky draw for prizes including autographed CDs and more. With so many rewards available, we encourage everyone to complete all the Stamp Tour missions and fully enjoy the festival experience!
Do you have any tips for fans to fully enjoy the offline missions of the Stamp Tour at the Weverse Con Festival venue?
Weverse Platform Operations Team: When participating in the Stamp Tour, logging into your Weverse account ahead of time will make completing the missions much easier. Also, on the day of the Weverse Con Festival, you can receive an instant “On-site Check-in” stamp by scanning a QR code at the venue, so we recommend arriving already logged in.
Is there any particular “Stamp Tour” mission you would highlight or recommend to the audience?
Weverse Platform Operations Team: Fan-submitted messages of support will be displayed on screens in the “Artist Zone,” giving artists the chance to see them directly. We hope this creates a special moment of connection between fans and artists.
Weverse IMC Operation Planning Part: We also recommend taking part in the “Photo Spot” stamp event. At the festival venue, a photo spot is set up to replicate the actual photo spot within the “Artist Zone.” Visitors can freely take pictures using the official 2025 Weverse Con Festival merch and photo props provided there. By uploading your photos to social media with the designated hashtags and showing the post to on-site staff, you will receive the “Photo Spot” stamp. This interactive mission is designed to give fans a variety of experiences, so we encourage everyone to join in.
Could you tell us about the food and beverage options and rest areas planned for festival attendees?
Concert Business Team: This year’s Weverse Con Festival will be held at the same venue as last year, the Inspire Entertainment Resort. We plan to expand the rest areas, including food and beverage (F&B) facilities, outside Weverse Park (Discovery Park). For added convenience, attendees will be able to browse menus, place orders, and make payments in advance for food available in the Food Zone inside Weverse Park via the Queen's Smile app or website, starting three days before the festival. For detailed information, please refer to the official announcements to ensure a smoother experience on-site.
How can attendees use the “Weverse Queues” system to enjoy the Weverse Con Festival more conveniently?
Weverse Biz Web Development Team & Platform Planning Department: “Weverse Queues” is a service that allows attendees to wait in line conveniently via their mobile devices instead of physically standing at performance venues or event booths. At this year’s Weverse Con Festival, Weverse Queues will be available for entry to the Weverse Park Day performances and the Weverse booths. To ensure smoother on-site operations, a pre-reservation feature has been introduced for event days. For detailed information on how to make reservations using Weverse Queues, please refer to the official announcements.
Lastly, do you have a message you would like to share with the attendees of the 2025 Weverse Con Festival?
Concert Business Team: The Weverse Con Festival places the utmost value on the connection between artists and fans, as well as among fans themselves, all through the power of music. This year’s festival features a diverse lineup of artists spanning genres and generations. We hope attendees will not only enjoy a deeply enriching musical experience but also feel part of the festival’s creation alongside the artists.
Weverse Platform Business Team: This year’s Weverse Con Festival aims to seamlessly integrate Weverse’s various features with the festival venue, allowing fans to naturally feel that they are creating the festival together with the artists. We hope attendees will enjoy a more immersive experience by participating in a variety of online and offline events and programs before and after the performances.
