Six years and eight months after his debut, YEONJUN is finally stepping out with his first solo album, “NO LABELS: PART 01.” His music doesn’t need any extra labels, because it already shows exactly who he is. His involvement in songwriting, composing, and performance production demonstrates an expanded musical spectrum. The album is packed with the kind of intensity that refuses to be boxed in. Now he’s introducing each track in his own words.

YEONJUN – “Talk to You”
YEONJUN: This is the song that shows who I am more than anything else. Its strong rock sound and bold performance really stand out. It is the closest you’ll get to experiencing YEONJUN in my most unfiltered state. I poured in the energy and emotion I feel on stage. While preparing the performance, I kept thinking about how to bring out my own style and presence, and that process made the stage feel even more like mine.

YEONJUN – “Forever”
YEONJUN:  This track hooks you right away with its catchy, quirky melody. What really makes it special is the lyric style, which is surprisingly thoughtful and even a little philosophical. If you listen while taking in the message and the feelings behind the words, the song hits a lot deeper. The melody sticks in your head on its own, but when you catch the ideas and vibe in the lyrics too, there’s a whole new side to the song that opens up.

YEONJUN – “Let Me Tell You (feat. Daniela of KATSEYE)”
YEONJUN:  This track brings back that early 2000s R&B vibe. My voice and Daniela’s blend with the melody in a way that makes the whole song feel even sexier and more intense. There are a lot of parts where the vocal texture and emotion really shine through, and the more you listen, the more the song will grow on you.

YEONJUN – “Do It”
YEONJUN:  This is an old-school hip-hop track that makes you want to search for your own aesthetic. The chill, stylish groove and the playful, confidence-filled lyrics really work together, so the more you listen, the more fun it gets.

YEONJUN – “Nothin’ ’Bout Me”
YEONJUN:  This song captures the message I wanted to express in this album the most. It’s a hardcore hip-hop track with a rock edge, so you’ll feel the exact energy I wanted to send out.

YEONJUN – “Coma”
YEONJUN:  This is a track I feel really connected to. From the moment we started working on it, I wanted to step out of the usual box and try something different. That mindset naturally led to a more experimental structure and an unexpected flow. Even within hip-hop, we added our own style to create a unique vibe. The performance for this track stands out even more.

Balming Tiger – “Buriburi”
YEONJUN:  I have this song on repeat these days. Even the title is cute, and it is just really fun to listen to. The more I play it, the more addictive it feels.

Hope Tala – “Jumping the Gun”
YEONJUN:  This is a gentle song where Hope Tala’s voice really shines. The calm mood stays all the way through, and it leaves you feeling peaceful from start to finish.

Harry Styles – “Daylight”
YEONJUN: I put this on when I want a warm, chill mood. Even if it is just playing quietly in the background, it naturally helps me relax.

YEONJUN’s Recommendations:
Justin Bieber – “Daisies”
Yungblud – “Zombie”
Jenevieve – “Baby Powder”
Odeal – “Miami (feat. Leon Thomas)”
