With the courage to reach out without hesitation and the conviction to run full speed ahead, AHOF races toward “tomorrow’s you” on their third mini album, “RUN TO YOU.” Below, the group talks about their latest release and recommends some songs for those of you who pledge to take the journey with them.

“RUN TO YOU” (AHOF)
STEVEN: “RUN TO YOU” is a song about running without hesitation toward someone you hold dear. The rock style and overall energy make it great, and I hope it gives a boost of energy to everyone who listens to it.

JEONGWOO: This song revolves around rock and synthpop with a refreshing touch from our vocals. I think it’s perfect for a summer drive playlist!

WOONGKI: This song really hits you with how confidently it runs straight toward love! Give it a listen to feel love and feel refreshed! :) It’s not that light, but it isn’t too heavy, either. You won’t want to stop listening to it.

SHUAIBO: This is such a perfectly refreshing song for summer. It’ll put anyone who listens to it in a good mood.

HAN: I think this is a great song! It’s so good that the first time we heard it, we all went, “This is it!” I hope our uniquely refreshing vibe comes across.

JL: There’s a line that goes, “You’re the one I’m running to / No matter where you are,” and I want to run to FOHA, no matter where they are.

JUWON: “RUN TO YOU” shows how refreshing our group can be, and it’s also an amazing summer song! It’s not just upbeat, it can be pretty wistful and moving, too, so please make sure and give it a listen.

CHIHEN: This is a chill song but with a fast beat, so it’s a great listen whether you’re out taking a drive or out for a walk! We poured our feelings and the feeling of running toward one particular person into the song, so I really hope people listen closely.

DAISUKE: I want to recommend this song for how it lets you experience the youthful energy behind running to one single person!

“Sugar High” (AHOF)
STEVEN: “Sugar High” is loaded with so much energy that it boosts your mood the second you hear it. I hope people will kick back and enjoy the catchy beat and chill vibe.

JEONGWOO: This song takes a step back from the youthful image we’ve been going for and gives something a little more intense, with really cool dance moves. Let me say thanks in advance for having this song on hand for when your dopamine peaks.

WOONGKI: This is different from anything we’ve done before, with a really powerful sound and standout choreo. It’s already a great song, but if you watch our performance, too, you’ll love it!

SHUAIBO: This song’s very cool, very full of passion, and a clear departure from other stuff we’ve done.

HAN: The concept here’s unlike anything we’ve ever done before. We had fun practicing the choreo together, and I hope you feel some of that excitement with us when you watch.

JL: I love the line that goes, “High energy, everyone gets hyped when they see me / Always in the same place / Never ever, I don’t change.”

JUWON: This song gives a different energy from the usual AHOF one, more intense and charismatic. The song’s already extremely catchy and energetic, but the choreo’s so cool that I have to say, make sure you watch it when you listen!

CHIHEN: “Sugar High” shows us being a little more mature, a little more charismatic than the concepts we’ve done before! I hope you’ll listen to both the catchy lyrics and the melody.

DAISUKE: Now you get to see a whole new side of AHOF we’ve never shown people before! There’s also something great about the powerful choreo, so please show it lots of love!

“JUST SAY YES” (AHOF)
JEONGWOO: This is my favorite track off the new album, especially the line that goes, “Trust me, just say yes.” I think it could really give people a boost.

SHUAIBO: I fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it. It’s exactly the kind of thing I like. It’s got great lyrics, a great rhythm, and everyone’s vocals sound great together, so I think FOHA’s going to like it.

JL: This song puts me in such a good mood every time I hear it. I really love the lyrics too, and I feel like FOHA will be able to relate, so I really hope they’ll give it a listen.

“You’re the Reason” (AHOF)
STEVEN: This song means a lot to me because it’s completely open about its feelings. Hope you really savor the lyrics along with the easygoing melody.

CHIHEN: The melody’s great and the lyrics are just lovely. The way “you’re the reason” shifts between falsetto and back as it repeats really brings out what makes each of our vocals special in particular, so I hope people zone in on that!

“Our Story” (AHOF)
WOONGKI: I took all the emotion and everything I feel about our fans and wrote that into the lyrics. This fan song’s such a meaningful and important song for me since I got to help write the words. :)

HAN: “Our Story,” which WOONGKI, JUWON, and I helped write, is all about FOHA and AHOF being together. A lot of thought went into how to capture this relationship where you’re always there for each other exclusively. I really hope you like it.

JUWON: This song is dedicated to our fans and says everything we want to say to them. The lyrics are very honest and direct, and we had FOHA and our love for them in mind while writing them.

DAISUKE: What stands out to me is how honest and open the lyrics here are. It’s really special in that way only an AHOF song can be!

“Through the Night” (IU)
STEVEN: I really feel there’s a quiet beauty in the way “Through the Night” gets its emotions across. The chill melody and warmth of the lyrics really sticks with you, so I listen to it a lot.

“Why you hate…” (LUCY)
JEONGWOO: This song really helps me along when I’m having a hard time, especially when I’m having a hard time with somebody else. It’s like the lyrics say: Once the feelings of hatred pass, you’re left alone with yourself. It comforts me every time I listen and helps me let go of those feelings I’m feeling towards that person.

“Memories” (WJSN)
WOONGKI: I love “Memories” by WJSN! It really makes you feel like you’re starring in a fairy tale. :) I also love taking trips down memory lane, and it’s a great song to listen to for that, too!

“Aura” (AND2BLE)
SHUAIBO: This is a great-sounding song, plus everyone in the group is just so good-looking!

“collapse” (Cloud koh)
HAN: The lyrics and whole vibe of this song are so beautiful and sad.

“Dive” (Olivia Dean)
JL: This is the song I always turn to whenever I’m feeling down or having a hard time. As soon as I put it on, my mood automatically goes up, and I start moving to the rhythm without even realizing it.

“That’s All I Have (Duet with Ock Joohyun)” (Hong Kwang Ho)
JUWON: This is a musical number sung by Hong Kwang Ho and Ock Joohyun. You can really feel the flurry of excitement in it, so make sure you give it a listen.

“CINEMA” (WOODZ)
CHIHEN: I’ve been listening to this song more than anything else lately. Everything about it’s just perfect, from the melody to the lyrics to the whole vibe. I really hope you’ll listen to this song and its lovely lyrics. :)

“Little Light” (DOYOUNG)
DAISUKE: I’m recommending this song for how well the emotion of the vocals and the beauty of the lyrics come together and how captivating it is.
