Cherry Bullet has returned with their second mini album, Cherry Wish. We talked to them about the lead single, “Love in Space,” plus other energetic music like Cherry Bullet’s own love-chasing, dream-hopping, space-tripping songs.

“Love in Space” (Cherry Bullet)

HAEYOON: “Love in Space” gets catchier and catchier the more you listen to it! Not only is the song catchy, but our vocals came out really great, so I think you’ll be able to hear what makes each of us special!

BORA: Our latest lead single is called “Love in Space.” We worked hard to make it charming and dreamy! I studied up and did my best to express way, way, waaaay more variety than before, even with the super-fast tempo and wide vocal range! I hope you love and cherish it. Hehe :)

YUJU: Our lead single, “Love in Space,” is all about Cherry Bullet falling in love and going off to meet somebody who’s in a parallel universe! As you can imagine from that, we made the song and the performance dreamy, so I hope you all like it!

“Broken” (Cherry Bullet)

HAEYOON: This song’s strong point is that it feels refreshing! I think it suits us well and has something different to offer than the lead single, so I recommend you listen to it!

YUJU: I recommend this song because I like how it expresses the desire for love with a beautiful melody and an analogy to there being no limits between these two people that can’t be broken.

BORA: The message in “Broken” is, “I’ll show you, the limit’s broken, flying toward the world of the future.” Every time I sing it, I feel like I’m yelling, “Nothing is impossible when Lullet and Cherry Bullet get together!” out into the world. And I feel like I’m about to cry, haha. Make sure to give it a listen! :-)

JIWON: I think my vocals and their tone come across well in this song! The choreography is incredibly beautiful, too, so it’s fun watching all the different performances!

REMI: This is our only non-single that has choreography to it! Both the choreography and the music itself make it an exciting feel-good song! Lullet, please listen to our song again and again!

CHAERIN: You’ll be able to see a whole new side to Cherry Bullet, one we’ve never shown off before! I love this song! Haha

HAEYOON: We covered this song recently: Wonder Girls’ “Be My Baby”! I feel like Cherry Bullet’s charmingly lovely energy allows us to try a lot of different things! One of them is this song, which I think fits our style well since it’s not too deep, just energetic and lovely!

BORA: I think of Lullet when I listen to this song while reading along with the lyrics! Thanks to Lullet’s love and them believing in me, I find the strength to live energetically every single day! Thank you, Lullet! I love you （╹◡╹）♡

“Come and Get Your Love” (Redbone)

YUJU: This song was in Guardians of the Galaxy. I’m actually really into Marvel, and I recommend you listen to this because it fits our current energetic theme!

“I” feat. Verbal Jint (TAEYEON)

JIWON: I recommend “I” by TAEYEON and featuring Verbal Jint. It’s a lovely song to begin with, but the addition of TAEYEON’s energetic singing skills make it amazing! I highly recommend it.

“MIC Drop” (BTS)

REMI: I think BTS’s “MIC Drop” captures our energy so well! We covered it before and Lullet really liked how our choreography was so energetic!

“Time of Our Life” (DAY6)

CHAERIN: “Time of Our Life,” by DAY6! I listen to it all the time when I’m working out because it’s extremely energetic and exciting! The lyrics are amazing, so Lullet, make sure you read them as you listen to the song!

“Into the New World” (Girls’ Generation)

CHAERIN: I’d also like to recommend “Into the New World” by Girls’ Generation! I’ve been practicing this song for a long time and just listening to it fills me with strength and hope!
