TOMORROW X TOGETHER, the group who sings to us all about the many emotions facing the youth of today, is back. Suffering the growing pains of a breakup, TOMORROW X TOGETHER told us more about their adventurous second mini album, minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, and about the music that made them dream again.

“Good Boy Gone Bad” (TOMORROW X TOGETHER)

SOOBIN: We’re back, with our most powerful performance since our debut. I hope you love it. We’ll keep giving you even better and more diverse things to look forward to, so be on the lookout!

YEONJUN: It was really refreshing to try and express breaking up through anger rather than sadness. I think MOA will find we’re different this time around compared to the feeling they’re used to from our group.

BEOMGYU: Whether you’re feeling down from a breakup or having a stressful day, I think this song can help clear that up! You’ll keep thinking about it and hearing it in your head thanks to the repetition in the melody.

TAEHYUN: The song is about a breakup, but I think the narcissistic angle is a fresh take. The charm of the song is that it isn’t a clichéd breakup song.

HUENINGKAI: This is the very first time we’ve ever tried a song like this! People who like rock songs are going to love it. Even the performance is cool.

“Trust Fund Baby” (TOMORROW X TOGETHER)

SOOBIN: Seeing as lots of people will definitely relate to the lyrics, I hope they can sympathize with the song and find comfort in it. This is my favorite song off the album, personally! Please give it a listen.

YEONJUN: I think a lot of people can relate to this song when they listen to it since it talks about something realistic. I think it will bring people a lot of comfort and give them strength, actually.

BEOMGYU: This is my favorite track off the new album. I’m sure everyone has at least one experience in their life where things didn’t go their way because they didn’t have any money; this song is a realistic portrayal of how that feels.

TAEHYUN: I think a whole lot of people will relate to the lyrics. You should be able to focus on the sound of our voices better thanks to the minimal instrumentation.

HUENINGKAI: I’m guessing a lot of people will relate to this song when they hear it! It’s a great song. It’s all about things that so many people would have experienced, from the title to every single line of the lyrics, and the melody is just as lyrical.

“First” (Yoon Jong Shin with MINSEO)

SOOBIN: This is a song from Monthly Project 2016 October Yoon Jong Shin that I really love. The lyrics are related to what our new album talks about, so I wanted to introduce it to you.

“Tiptoeing” (Hope Tala)

YEONJUN: I already recommended this song to MOA before, but I just think the lyrics are so beautiful. The song itself isn’t all that dynamic, but I feel like it has this amazing power to draw you in.

“HANGANG” (Hoody)

BEOMGYU: I’ve been listening to “HANGANG” by Hoody a lot lately. It’s a perfect fit for those good-weather days when it’s nice to take a walk or a drive. Even if you can’t visit Hangang River in person, this song can give you the feeling of taking a walk by the River on a leisurely day.

“Every Breath You Take” (The Police)

TAEHYUN: If you like rock music, you have to listen to this. It feels like an old classic.

“Purpose (Stripped)” (Etham)

HUENINGKAI: I’m recommending this song because I like everything about it, from the guitar, to the lyrics, to the melody. It’s great to listen to before bed.
