From “No More Dream,” which asks questions about dreams to “Yet To Come,” which conveys the message that the best is still yet to come. Since “Blood Sweat & Tears,” through which they worked their way to the top step by step, BTS always had a musical companion by their side: Pdogg. Here are some of the songs that inspire Pdogg as he continues to set new trends at the center of K-pop.

BTS – “Spring Day”
Pdogg: This song crosses my mind when spring is around the corner. I love V’s deep voice in the bridge.

Jung Kook – “Hate You”
Pdogg: It’s such a beautiful song. I loved it from the moment we recorded it. Jung Kook’s pure and unadorned voice combined with a simple piano-only arrangement created a track where I can solely focus on Jung Kook’s voice and it made me love it even more.

BTS – “Save ME”
Pdogg: I find myself reaching for its music video every once in a while. It’s incredibly immersive with the three elements of the cool choreography, the desolate weather, and the song striking a perfect balance.

BTS – “Mikrokosmos”
Pdogg: This song reminds me of a concert. Each time I hear it, I can’t wait for BTS to be discharged and tour as a whole. Definitely put it on loud!

Tate McRae – “greedy”
Pdogg: This song has early 2000s Timbaland vibe to it and that makes me feel nostalgic. Also, Tate McRae’s vocals are ear-catching.

Calvin Harris, Sam Smith – “Desire”
Pdogg: It makes you feel nostalgic for the trance tunes in the millennium. A Eurodance could be cheesy, but Sam Smith’s vocals make it trendy!

Doja Cat – “Paint The Town Red”
Pdogg: As far as I know, this was the first rap song to top the Billboard Top 100 in a while. It showcases Doja Cat’s appeal as a rapper better than her prior work. The addictive hook and her improved rapping are impressive.

benny blanco, Halsey & Khalid – “Eastside”
Pdogg: This song came out five years ago and although it’s been around for a while, I can’t stop going back to it. The lonely guitar riff met with Khalid and Halsey’s sweet vocals keep it relevant.
