HYEONGSEOP (TEMPEST): I danced to this song at the talent show when I was in second grade. That was my first real taste of the stage, like the ones I perform on as a member of TEMPEST today. My mom played me the video she recorded when we got home, and you can hear one of the other kids saying, “HYEONGSEOP was the best.” I guess I already had potential back then. (laughs)

“We’re All In This Together” (Cast of “High School Musical”)
SAKURA (LE SSERAFIM): When I saw this movie as a kid, it made me like musicals even more. I remember feeling all those kids singing and dancing together at school just felt so youthful and wonderful.

“Baby” feat. Ludacris (Justin Bieber)
JAKE (ENHYPEN): I used to listen to this song all the time when I was young. I can still remember how big a source of musical inspiration it was for me when I was little. I wanted to recommend a nostalgic song that could bring people back to their childhood for this Children’s Day, too.

“Good day” (IU)
SEOWON (UNIS): I hope May 5 is a “Good day” for kids all around the world! Have a fun time with your parents and friends and live your young life to its fullest! Spend the day eating some great food and stay healthy! Promise! 😘

“Aiueongaku” (GRe4N BOYZ)
TAKI (&TEAM): I listened to this song a lot as a kid. Anytime I turned on the TV, there it was, so I’m recommending it here. It’s uplifting every time.

SHINYU (TWS): I’m recommending this song because the melody’s great and easy for kids to sing along to, plus it could be fun to learn the main dance moves!

“Takaneno Hanakosan” (back number)
MOKA (ILLIT): I absolutely adored this song when I was a kid. It still brings me back to those days when I hear it, so I had to recommend it!

“Balloons” (TVXQ!)
YOON (NOWADAYS): I really liked this song as a kid. I heard it all the time at things like kindergarten talent shows, which might be why it still brings out my inner child. It brings back so many warm, happy memories when I hear it, so I wanted to share it.

“When I Grow Up” (The Pussycat Dolls)
Daniela (KATSEYE): When I was younger, I was obsessed with this song. Hearing them sing about wanting to be famous and perform reminded me of what I wanted too—to be onstage, to do what I love, and to be confident about it. The song made me feel powerful, like I could do anything if I worked hard enough. It definitely inspired me to go after my dream and believe in myself from a young age.

“Gee” (Girls’ Generation)
ATHENA (FIFTY FIFTY): When I was little, I put on little shows for my parents and always sang this song. I couldn’t help but get hooked after listening to and singing it again and again, and soon enough it was my dream to become an idol. That’s probably why the song means so much to me.
