When a scar becomes a mark of love from an old wound, it opens up a once closed-off world. &TEAM’s second Korean mini album, “Mark on Me,” follows along as the wolf’s feelings change after meeting someone who accepts him for who he is. Below, read more about traces of &TEAM’s love that will never fade, and the music that will forever linger alongside, in playlist form.

“Mark on Me” (&TEAM)
EJ:
This song’s got a deep, romantic melody, plus our emotional acting and facial expressions. It’s a side of &TEAM we haven’t shown before, so I think it’ll feel new and fun.

FUMA: With less choreo in this single, the whole thing revolves more around our vocals. I put more power from deep inside me into it and tried to sing it like in a musical where you can reach the back row even without a mic. We’re more mature and adult in the music video, too, so I hope you’ll both watch and listen a bunch.

K: There’s a lot of falsetto in this song and I tried to be as nuanced with it as I could. I hope you’ll listen out for the part right before the second chorus since I worked extra hard to make the melody there feel more dynamic.

NICOLAS: What really makes this song stand out is the wide spread on the vocals and the intricate choreo. I hope you enjoy the eye contact and facial expressions in the music video since I worked really hard on that.

YUMA: A lot of performing this song comes down to singing, gestures, and different expressions. Look close at each of our facial expressions and listen close to our voices.

JO: I could just recommend listening to the song, but if you watch the music video, you’ll be able to pick up the whole vibe and appeal of it way better, so I really hope you watch it.

HARUA: Our group’s never done a song in this style before. I think the vibe’s going to feel refreshingly different from what you’re used to with &TEAM since it’s all based around facial expressions and hand gestures.

TAKI: This is a more mature song conceptually, and with limited choreography, which is rare for us, it was a new kind of challenge to take on. I really tried to convey the attraction to it through my vocals and facial expressions. And seeing as the song’s about love, I think you’ll enjoy seeing how we’ve grown up from boys into a group that’s a little more mature.

MAKI: This is more restrained choreography than with our other songs, but I think the upside’s that you can focus on the story and our voices and facial expressions!

“Good Boy” (&TEAM)
EJ:
This song’s got a hip, high-energy, super catchy hook. For the choreo, we dance with the backup dancers in all kinds of different formations, so it has a unique flavor compared to “Mark on Me.”

HARUA: I personally think the gang vocals in the chorus are the real highlight. We recorded them all together to make it sound really layered. You can really feel the punch and power in our singing and dancing!

“Love Jang” (&TEAM)
K:
Make sure you check out the performance for this one! The choreography’s so cute and catchy. I think LUNÉ’s going to love this one the most.

MAKI: The best part’s the cute, catchy choreo! The vibe’s a little like “MISMATCH” in that you’ll get an energy boost just from listening. Put it together with the choreo and I bet you’ll feel amazing!

“Accelerate” (&TEAM)
NICOLAS:
This is a bright, feel-good track you can just kick back to and enjoy. I’ll recommend it for a nice drive, since it feels like a great fit.

JO: This song’s overflowing with that fresh, breezy pop sound. As the title suggests, it’s a good song for when you’re out for a drive, when you just want to get a little into the rhythm and chill.

“Empty” (&TEAM)
FUMA:
This song’s got an amazing chorus with an unforgettable melody and lyrics that ask, “Is it okay for a monster like me to love you?” I hope you’ll check out the ad lib I did for the final chorus, which isn’t something I’ve done much of.

YUMA: I’m specifically recommending the bridge, which is my part, and since it’s just me and a guitar, I was hard at work recording it over and over. Hope you’ll give it a listen.

TAKI: I personally liked how chill this song sounds. The lyrics have certain expressions I wouldn’t normally use, which made recording them tricky, but that hard work paid off and I think this ballad really captures our essence. I hope you like it.

“JUST A DREAM” (Yel)
EJ:
I heard this artist randomly on social media, and this song just felt so laid-back and relaxing when I first heard it. I’ve been listening to it a lot.

“Gooey” (TAEMIN)
FUMA:
This is a new song from TAEMIN, who I really look up to. It takes trendy hip hop and reworks it into a house tempo, and it’s absolutely TAEMIN coded. I listen to it before going onstage to hype myself up, and I really like the performance video, too.

“double take” (Dhruv)
K:
I used to listen to this nonstop and now it’s pulled me back in again. I’ve been listening to a lot of chill music lately, when I’m falling asleep at night for example, and this song really puts me at ease when I hear it.

“So Easy (To Fall In Love)” (Olivia Dean)
NICOLAS:
I loved the laid-back, feel-good vibe of this song from the very first time I heard it. It never fails to make me feel relaxed and lighten up. It’s definitely got the vibe of a song you want to hear when you’re out for a drive and the weather’s good.

“Just Pretend” (Bad Omens)
YUMA:
I’ve always liked rock and I came across this song while looking for something to listen to. I put it on when I want to get hyped or even just to chill out.

“Billie Jean” (Michael Jackson)
JO:
I’ve been listening to this song more frequently after seeing the movie “Michael.” It’s so great and really cool to watch along with his performance.

“0%” (SANTOS BRAVOS)
HARUA:
I really love the melody and the entire vibe of this song. I listen to it constantly when I do strength training.

“Deep Dive” (Alice Syndrome)
TAKI:
This is a rock song and I love how the guitar sounds. I listen to it when I want to get hyped or when I’m about to go onstage.

“Not Enough” (EVAN)
MAKI:
I love this song! I listened to it all the time to keep myself awake when we were promoting in Korea and I had to be up early for hair and makeup. I’ve always admired him and I’ve learned so much from his vocals and his technique.
