When opportunity strikes ONEUS has always chosen the challenging but exciting new way forward. We asked ONEUS, who have just thrown their hat into the ring again with the release of their seventh mini album, TRICKSTER, about its lead single, “Bring it on,” their tireless passion and the music that keeps them going.
“That’s Hilarious” (Charlie Puth)
SEO HO: I really enjoy listening to this song lately. The beat, the melody and the details in the vocals are all really interesting so it’s fun to listen to. You’ll groove along to it without even noticing when you listen and it’ll make you feel both calmer and more excited. I think it’s a good song to listen to when you want to just dance a little on the inside.
“Sorry” (The Rose)
LEE DO: I listen to this song a lot since I like rock music. The vocals really suit the song and the emotional opening will leave a strong impression on you as soon as you hear it. Plus the lyrics in the chorus and the melody throughout the whole song are really amazing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to hear a rock song that’s also calming.
“Mia & Sebastian’s Theme” (Justin Hurwitz)
KEON HEE: This is one of my favorite songs. It’s great when songs have amazing vocals, but I hope sometimes our Moonies can pick up the emotions a pure instrumental with no vocals can give and imagine the scene from the movie at the same time! The melody from the piano, which starts calm and slowly intensifies, makes the listener focus on the music and feel at ease.
“Friends” (BTS)
HWAN WOONG: I think it’s nice when you’re in a group with someone the same age as you. This song makes me thankful when I hear it, and it makes me hope KEON HEE and I can have a long friendship and put on a lot of fun performances together like BTS does. I recommend you listen to this song with a friend you like hanging out with.
