Boys Will Be Boys. MIRAE is back with their fifth EP with a new level of growth. We asked MIRAE—who’s taking a powerful leap with their lead single “JUMP!” which contains their commitment to become the world’s “MVP”—about their thoughts on their new album and some refreshingly energetic music to help us get through the hot summer.
MIRAE – “JUMP!”
LEE JUN HYUK: Our fifth mini album with the lead single “JUMP!” has just been released! The song captures our energetic high-teen vibe. It’s a super exciting song, and I would really appreciate it if you could join and jump with us!
LIEN: “JUMP!” is a song that boasts of our sporty charm. It’s so upbeat that it makes you want to dance, so I hope you listen to it a lot and even join in on the challenge! Feel the summer! With MIRAE! Hehe.
YOO DO HYUN: The lead single of our fifth mini album—“JUMP!”—is sporty and bouncy like a basketball. We’re expecting a particularly hot summer this year! And I’m sure the song will give you some cool, fresh energy to fight off the monstrous heat, so I hope you listen to it a lot!
KHAEL: The highlight of this song is the catchy beat and an intense melody. I think it really expressed the freshness of MIRAE! It’s a great song to listen to while driving or working out.
SON DONG PYO: The song is filled with our unique boyish charm! Listen to “JUMP!” and enjoy your vibrant summer days with MIRAE!
PARK SI YOUNG: Listen to this song as you walk down the street, and you’ll find yourself grooving to the rhythm! How about spending this summer with “JUMP!”? It’s a song with our sporty and refreshing charm, so don’t miss it.

MIRAE – “GIRL”
LEE JUN HYUK: It’s a song that boasts of our members’ tones and expresses the emotions that can only be felt by boys, so I hope you enjoy it.
LIEN: This song is based on the question of “What is love?” and you can feel our distinctive refreshing vibe and boyish charm!
YOO DO HYUN: “GIRL” is a song filled with a bright and refreshing boyish charm that suits us! Along with the boyish choreography, you can get a true taste of our freshness, so I hope you really love this song!
KHAEL: The key is the dreamy yet addictive hook, and the more you listen to it, the more you’ll fall into it. I think it’s a song that subtly shows our sexiness.
SON DONG PYO: The first track, “GIRL,” is a refreshing and dreamy song that you can comfortably listen to. Its exciting and catchy melody goes well with any time or place, so please give lots of love to this song!
PARK SI YOUNG: It's an easy listening song with a relaxing melody from start to finish! Since it makes you feel something between fresh and dreamy, it’ll be a great song for your everyday life.
JANG YU BIN: It's my favorite song on this album! It's so addictive that just by listening to it once, you’ll find yourself humming it over and over, and I also think it fits our image perfectly.
MIRAE – “Drop The Bass”
LEE JUN HYUK: It's a song on this album that exudes a particularly different, hip vibe, so I hope you enjoy it!
LIEN: A song that gives off our unique hip feel!
YOO DO HYUN: It's an intense song we’re proud of—featuring powerful rap by our rappers. So if you’re curious about our rap, make sure to listen to “Drop the Bass”!
KHAEL: It’s a song with a strong beat and rap, and it’s just too bad that there’s no choreography when it’s such a great song to dance to. Khael's intro part is fantastic (laughs).
SON DONG PYO: It’s a song that has broadened the musical spectrum of the album by adding our unique hip feel to it! Its extremely powerful bass will get you all excited, so please give it lots of love!
PARK SI YOUNG: “Drop the Bass” is a great song that could raise your energy level with its strong bass! The song has a strong impact like the waves on a calm sea, and it’s just perfect for dancing!
JANG YU BIN: When I first heard the song’s guide version, I thought it was really hip. And it’s a song that gives off the charm of MIRAE. It’s my personal favorite that I often listened to while working out!
MIRAE – “NOW & FOREVER”
LEE JUN HYUK: It’s a song we sang thinking of NOW from the bottom of our heart, hoping to be with them forever, so please enjoy:)
JANG YU BIN: I recommend this song since it’s a fan song that’s all the more meaningful! I’m sure that NOW would love it! It's such a refreshing song and it’s great!
XG – “GRL GVNG”
LIEN: I recommend this song because I think the lyrics, melodies, and performances are all fabulous! I was especially impressed by the lyric that says, “Me and my girls aren't here to play!”
KARD – “ICKY”
YOO DO HYUN: Lately, I listen to KARD's “ICKY” very often! Their groovy voices go so well with the song, and when I listen to it while exercising or commuting, it feels like I've become stylish like them, and my confidence goes up!
BOYNEXTDOOR – “You’re Driving Me Crazy”
KHAEL: This is a song that I often listen to these days, and I think the song gives you fresh feelings about love. I recommend you listen to this when you’re out on a stroll or need something refreshing on a hot summer day.
MIRAE – “So Different”
SON DONGPYO: I highly recommend “So Different,” the third track on the album! I personally think it’s a great song to listen to when you’re out driving or at the Han River, since it has a great blend of a breezy feel and a catchy melody! I hope you enjoy your day listening to this song!
Michael Jackson – “Rock With You”
PARK SI YOUNG: I recommend this song, hoping you could kick back a little in this complicated world. It’s a calm and gentle song!
