Do you think I’m fragile? LE SSERAFIM is back with their second mini album, ANTIFRAGILE, and they’re out to prove that no amount of change or turmoil will break them, only make them stronger. The girls take an even more confident and powerful step out onto the runway, singing, “I will rise over and over again.” We asked LE SSERAFIM about the album’s title track and the songs they’d like FEARNOT, the source of their strength, to hear.

“ANTIFRAGILE” (LE SSERAFIM)

KIM CHAEWON: All of the members like this song because it’s so bouncy and catchy. The beat’s really exciting and makes you want to dance, so you should probably watch our performance, too.

SAKURA: This song is about us and shows how we think people can overcome anything that life throws at them. I think it’s the perfect song for when you’re waking up or working out.

HUH YUNJIN: The single “ANTIFRAGILE” continues on from “FEARLESS” in conveying our message and all the thoughts and feelings we experience in our lives. If you listen to the lyrics, you can hear how ambitious we are and how determined we are to never give up. We kept this in mind while making both the songs and the performances for our comeback, so I hope you like it. You’ll want to dance along with us when you hear it!

KAZUHA: The title “ANTIFRAGILE” means that, the more adversity you face, the stronger you become. The message is that, the more difficulties you struggle through, the stronger you’ll be. When I first heard the song, it felt exciting, new and sophisticated, and I couldn’t get it out of my head. I hope people like the music, of course, but I also hope they listen closely to the lyrics about our lives, and I hope the power of LE SSERAFIM helps them to be stronger.

HONG EUNCHAE: This song’s got a message: The harder you’re hit, the stronger you become. And I love the lyrics, which say you can overcome any difficulties and hardship you face and use them to grow stronger and improve yourself. It’s really cool. I want to overcome difficulties and hardships and grow stronger, too, and when I listen to this song, it gives me the strength to try and get over those things. It’s also really catchy and super bouncy and exciting!

“Impurities” (LE SSERAFIM)

KIM CHAEWON: This song’s got a completely different vibe from “ANTIFRAGILE.” It’s an easy-listening song that’ll make you feel good whether you listen to it while taking a drive, moving between appointments or getting ready at home.

SAKURA: I think FEARNOT will like this song since it’s so laid-back. The beat’s fantastic and it’s got the kind of cool lyrics you’ve come to expect from LE SSERAFIM!

HUH YUNJIN: This is my favorite song off the album, personally! It’s a memorable, hip, chill R&B track, and the lyrics are about Crimson Heart, our original story. It also really shows off all the members’ different vocal styles, so it lets you enjoy the way we express our songs in detail.

KAZUHA: There’s something unique about this song that separates it from the single. Like “Blue Flame” off our first mini album, this is a theme song for the HYBE original story Crimson Heart. Even if you get knocked around and broken and the scar never completely fades, you can look at it as something beautiful that made you who you are today and helps you move forward with confidence. That’s the message behind the song. The melody is soft, beautiful and relaxing, but I hope people listen closely for this important message.

HONG EUNCHAE: I think the opening of our performance is really pretty, the way we’re like girls lying in a field. The song really captures our group’s style well, and it’s fun watching the performance to see the choreography from all different angles, so don’t miss it!

“brutal” (Olivia Rodrigo)

KIM CHAEWON: I like rock songs, and this one gets me excited and makes me feel good every time I hear it.

“Good Parts (when the quality is bad but I am)” (LE SSERAFIM)

SAKURA: This song comes off our new album and I helped write the lyrics. The song is about loving yourself even though you have good times, bad times and less-than-perfect times. I sympathized with that and found courage in it, and I think a lot of other people will, too.

“Bonnie & Clyde” (DeVita)

HUH YUNJIN: I love everything about this song from the melody to the lyrics. I’m recommending it because it’s a good song for autumn, which is also my favorite season. Somehow, it reminds me of lying back on a picnic blanket and watching the clouds slowly float across the wide expanse of the sky.

“Beyond the Stars” feat. Ashley Alisha (Dept)

KAZUHA: This duet is absolutely beautiful. I thought it was a great song from the first time I heard it. Then I listened to the lyrics more closely and found the words tender and beautiful—like I was staring into the sky. Make sure you listen to how lovely the lyrics are when you listen to the song!

“No Rules” (TOMORROW X TOGETHER)

HONG EUNCHAE: I danced to this song when I was a trainee. It’s so cheerful and bouncy and the whole thing’s got a vibe that just makes me feel good and very excited. The choreography goes along well with the song, too. It’s really high energy and fun.
